# What you can ask

**For consultants, analysts, and anyone who runs expert calls.** Once your IT team has added the Junior connector to your AI client, you can ask questions about your own research in plain language — no exports, no copying transcripts into a chat window.

Ask *"what did buyers say about pricing in the Acme diligence?"* and the assistant finds the relevant calls, reads the Key Takeaways, and answers with the detail behind it.

Two things are always true:

- **You only ever see your own research.** You sign in with your own Junior account, and the assistant reaches exactly what you can already open in the web app — nothing your colleagues haven't shared with you.
- **Nothing can be changed.** Every tool is read-only. The assistant cannot edit, delete, or create anything in Junior.

Not connected yet? That's a one-time setup — send your IT team to [Set up the connector](/mcp-connector/setup).

## Find the right calls

Filters are applied by Junior rather than by the assistant reading through everything, so being specific makes answers faster and better:

- *"List my expert calls on the Acme diligence from the last month."*
- *"Which calls in this project are tagged as former employees?"*
- *"Show me GLG calls in France rated 4 or higher since March."*
- *"What did the calls over 60 minutes cost us on this project?"*

Ratings, cost, duration, country, job title, expert network, segment, and date range are all filterable in a single question.

## Dig into one call

- *"Summarise the call with the former Head of Procurement."*
- *"What were the Key Takeaways from Tuesday's expert call?"*
- *"Pull the exact quote where they talk about switching costs."*

Summaries and Key Takeaways answer most questions and come back quickly. Ask for the verbatim transcript only when you need someone's precise wording — it's much larger.

## Synthesise across a project

- *"What are the common objections across all buyer calls in this project?"*
- *"Which competitors came up most often across the diligence?"*
- *"Compare what former employees said about pricing versus what buyers said."*
- *"Which segments have we covered, and where are we thin?"*

## Tips that make a real difference

- **Name the project.** "On the Acme diligence" narrows the search immediately; without it the assistant may search everything you have access to.
- **Ask for segments first if you're filtering by them.** Segment names are per-project ("Buyer", "Competitor", "Former Employee"), so asking what exists beats guessing.
- **Prefer summaries to transcripts** unless you need a direct quote.
